In 2008 I filmed some interviews with my friends Josh and Haley McBride for a story on a unique barn. Haley’s grandfather, Gary Beazer, built a barn for his calf raising business in 1971. On top of the barn he created a gathering place for his family to hold parties. Over the years Beazer added different items to the barn he collected, including homemade bar stools made of milk cans and tractor seats and a full size shuffleboard that was hoisted through the back door by a crane lift. I recently saw Josh and Haley and remembered this footage that we filmed. This last week I decided to edit it into a short documentary about “The Barn.”
